Fake reviews are fraudulent

In Italy, the law has caught up with a trader who received payment for writing fake reviews.  He was sent to prison and fined 8000 Euro.

Be warned, it’s only a matter of time before we’re writing about a case in the UK.

While it may seem like a good idea to leave positive reviews for each other in a bid to offset fake or bad reviews, just don't. Please don’t be tempted to write fake reviews for others.  Or allow known false reviews to remain - even if they do benefit your business.  It’s fraud.  You’ll be prosecuted and there is nothing we can do here to defend or support you.
